Udo Island 우도(해양도립공원) 牛島

Udo Island is a small island, east of Jeju Island.
It takes about 15 minutes ferry ride, the ferry terminal is very close to Seongsan Ilchulong Peak, about 5 minutes by car.
To buy the ticket, we have to write on the order paper and show our ID (Passport).
There are two ferry terminals in Udo Island, so beware of the last ferry and the departure location.

As soon as the ferry arrives, there are a couple options to get around the island:
- Rent a motor scooter (required International Driving License with the Motor Bike tick, somehow they are very strict checking this, the rent is KRW 30,000 for 2 hours and you can negotiate with several renters there outside the ferry terminal)
- Rent a bicycle
- Using circular bus, departs every 15-20 minutes, KRW 15,000). English and limited and most drivers cannot speak English.
- Rent a car, I saw a bunch of electric car, but didn't see the car rental office in ferry terminal

Udo Island is my favorite, for its beautiful white sandy beaches, and nice cafes.
Since our driving license had no tick on the motor bike, we couldn't rent the bike, and took the circular bus. We stopped in the first stop of the circular bus, a nice white sandy beach. There are some shops and snorkeling shop and toilet and paid shower.
There are about 10 stops in the circular bus. A driver recommended us to must stop spots, since our time was limited.
After the first white sand beach, we stopped (by mistake) to the second ferry terminal, then took the next bus to the cliff. There are some shops and cafes there.
Down the cliff, we could watched the famous diving ladies working collecting sea urchin (beware slippery, Miss M actually slipped here).
After the cliff, we stopped by at a small cape with a nice small tower made from shell.
